1979 YZ80 Warm Up and Trundle 1

My rebuilt 1979 YZ80F having a trundle. 28mm Mikuni VM Series. 2X6 Motor. Still using run in mixture hence the smoke. Hard to engage second.

Im 6 foot 2 and yeh all big wheel 80's are about the same size

Hi Dutonicus,nice video,i typed in yz80f for a joke and low and behold,there it was.

I am 43 now,but i brought one back in 79 brand new,and raced it in a club for 5 years and beat most of the other bikes then,you know after the next model,which was the yz80g was the yz80h which was the first one that had the plastic tank,instead of a metal one,then came the yz80j,which was the first one which was water-cooled,but the idiots put it at the front and it was too front heavy,later,came the yz80k.

I bought one of those in Canada off the showroom for 800 dollars it was super fast I thought it was better than the 1980 model for sure .I loved that bike !Mine was a real yz it was yellow.

would you sell the bike and to fix your 2nd gear take the clutch basket off and file the groves down i had the same problem

yo man i just just bought a 78 and it looks alot newer then tat but there are alot of aftermarket parts ii should put a vid of it
