Learning French spellings like nouveau is likely copying someone's disastrous epic spelling error.
The correct Latin based word , is novellus and english shortened to novel
shameless liars faked they knew how to spell novel
the result - proof that French teachers were uneducated and uncultured and outright liars.
-
The French dictionary is a long list of spelling errors by unashamed illiterate teachers pretending to be literate.
eau nowhere near aqua
-
Another example of how uneducated French teachers were :
February was from Latin Freburarius
The French teachers just faked they knew Latin.
and the spelling OMG, so badly spelt , I am too disgusted to repeat here
nowhere near Februarius

French: nouveau
English: novel (adj)
English who were Latin scholars
as Alcuin of York defined Latin grammar and font of text in Europe.
have novel (adj) from
Latin novellus
French spelling of nouveau is an embarrassment to the educated
An epic spelling error of someone uneducated pretending to be educated;.
English have no problem,

Religion
Latin was meant to be compulsory for priest in all Europe.
the Latin word for altar is altare
French: autel , an epic spelling failure
English and Spanish : altar
Italian: altare
even the Swedes with a nordic language use altar.
Evidently, French were so uneducated that even the ppl who must be educated were not and just faked !

Re: Togo
Togo is a country too.
French military tried to destroy evidence of direct interference blocking free demonstration in that INDEPENDENT COUNTRY

French language is full of spelling errors.
Alcuin of York was educated France and Europe.
he set the syllabus.
look him up
he died in Tours.
Europe was falling into barbarism and Alcuin of York and his English assistants brought Europe back its lost civilisation

@battycys Just wrong. It's impossible in the French constitution (for Areva) to use the nation troop to protect directly some private interest, even if they are French. Stop Lying plz, Canada is a country I respect, as I respect the Quebecois, and as I really admire our english brothers. You don't need to insult somebody (saying we are genociders) to prove your opinion !
-
@battycys French languages is just the most rich one in occident. That's why the UN only authorize English (most speaked) and French to write the treat; piggy French basher.

@WeedyMellow T'as du oublier la mort de Montcalm et la guerre de 7 ans toi je crois... Les Anglais, que j'aime énormément au demeurant, nous ont pris le Canada les armes à la main et étaient maîtres de la discussion. Tout ne sera plus jamais comme avant, mais il faut faire taire cette rumeur fausse selon laquelle la France aurait volontairement abandonné sa plus belle perle d'outre mer.
Vive l'autodétermination des peuples.

My mother is Quebecois, I am learning French and I plan to move to Montreal when I graduate from school. I have always been proud of my French Canadian heritage and I plan to take my mothers maiden name. I may have been born to a German Canadian father but I will always be a free Catholic QUEBECOIS!
