Heretical Book Burning 2 Part 2

**This practice is biblical, see Acts 19:19.***

Some friends of mine and I got together to have a good o'l fashioned book burning. This the second once. You can see the first one by clicking on this

The New American Bible - this book seemed to represent the epitome of one of the greatest plagues affecting mankind- counterfeit Catholicism. It was burned not necessarily because the translation was horrible, but because of the commentary was completely modernist - in some cases denying the reality of the miracles of Christ and the authorship of the apostles.. Beware of the NAB's commentary, although the translation could be better, the real culprit here is the commentary. - the commentary in this bible renders the bishop's stamp of approval on the inside cover into an embarrassing shame.

Our intention here is not to take these books out of circulation completely, we do not have the means not the authority to do such a thing. We are simply condemning these books on principle.

etc..... Good riddance!!! more room for orthodox books in our libraries now.

More good work, Dudes and Missy! As for that book of the title, I "once was Catholic", but I came back! However, it is a shame that so largely the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) itself "once was Catholic" but is all but unrecognisable now as RCC. The Mass at least still is valid, but what a mess the Church made of it in 1969-1970! As for Confession I am not sure of what you say. Most parishes here make it all but impossible to go to Confession. It`s their fault is folks don`t confess before Mass.

I sorry, I cannot condone book burning. I wouldn't have condoned book burning in Ephesus or anywhere else. I wouldn't see anyone burn your Holy Book or anyone else's. It is an evil act, borne of fear in the weakness of your own views. Thats what I have to say about book burning.
