all mechnical hard drives are shit within 1 year not a lot peoople will stock them. ssd is the way to go and the future still a bit pricey but they will become cheap very soon.

My old PC (7 year old) have a maxtor disk but it never died ;)

@DGMRuadeil Same thing with me, I've only had ONE Maxtor drive that's never failed once... A Maxtor Diamondmax 10GB that was bought in 1998 and I still have it running in an old Pentium 3 system at this very moment. So it's not just him.
