Gaming In Linux : Call Of Duty

Call of duty 1 running in Ubuntu Linux on wine 1.1.41, The game is running great on full graphic settings even online. The graphical glitches aren't actually in the game but were caused by recordmydesktop as i couldent get the game to run in windowed mode

Uh hang on I have the discs but I can't run the Setup.exe because I can't enable execution with it, and I'm choosing to run it with WINE. Any suggestions? I've been trying to install this for some time now...

Lmfao, i can not believe someone asked how to download it, this game is OLLLLLD you can prob buy it for 1.50 + 2.00 for PnP..

erm could you give me a link with tutorial please i am kind of a linux noob, i just hunted out my original cd's

@urouk Is rather bad lol...and im having trouble myself with installing the game, i think it may be my CD though, just try installing it through wine like any ordinary game and see how it goes :)

@ronyaldoloco1 Nope sorry, all i can tell you to do is buy the game since even the deluxe version is now under £10, as downloading the full game is illegal and you can only play online with the retail version

@Jakejw93 Sort of. I'm not proficient in all the commands, so it takes me awhile to install/configure something, but I get by just fine.

haha ops I got distracted with the tele.. hmm well i played about with load of things. but same thing when i get to the cd 2 part, if i eject it don't work when pressing the okay, think it because when cd1 is in, it mounts as /media/CoD1, but when ejecting it, it changes to CoD2, so of course the system is looking for CoD1 mount to carry on with the installing.. anyways i just installed it on windows(*Yes :( i still have it on my comp) then transferd the files over to drive_c/program files.

@Jakejw93 i did that, but got stuck when it asked for cd two, nothing happens when i press okay. i will google and see if i can find any answers, but i have read on a few post's i need Loki Installer, but i am having trouble finding it.. .
