Two women forced to deal with the ugly specter of domestic violence find support in one another in this made-for-television drama, inspired by a true story. Beth (Donna Mills) has spent years in a violent relationship with her husband Tim (Corbin Bernsen), who batters her on a regular basis. One day, Beth reaches the end of her rope, packing up her daughter and leaving her husband behind. Tim, however, isn't about to let Beth go, and begins following her every move. In order to put an end to his stalking, Beth enters a shelter for abused women, where she meets Kaye (Robin Givens), a fellow beaten spouse. Beth and Kaye become fast friends, and they decide to find a house together. However, Kaye unfortunately also has a husband who refuses to leave her be, and when her former spouse violently attacks her, it's up to Beth to see that justice is done.

  • ah bull shit! the first scene is ridiculous.. how could you not smell cig smoke???? HAHAHHA

  • wen was this made?

  • I CRIED SO HARD when the little old lady realized, and tried to protect them. It warmed my heart, because of her reaction before. She remembered and CARED. <3

  • This movie is crazy it shows you what a lot of women go through with men like that he deserves to stay in jail or be killed because no women should have to go through something like that

  • i cried at the end

  • ALL he wanted was to feel like he was in control

  • @Sou05111981 Your probably right, He`ll most likely be out of jail in a few short years and track her down again anyway

  • Why didn't Beth tell her safety buddy about her sign with the light?

  • f the only chance be safe is when her husband isn't anymore alive... it would be an act of self-defence and an effective way to get rid of him. At her place I wouldn't hesitate for a second! Why had she done nothing to defend: Learning some self-defence, having pepper-spray, gun ??? In Germany the police can't really help before something bad happens. Help yourself - or nobody can help you at the right time (that's the advise a police-man gaves to me!). Don't be victime, become the hunter!

  • All he wants is a beer? He is so fucking pathetic.
