What´s the matter with this game? It seems you control the gun but not the movements of the character? And you don´t even see the gun you´re using! I just don´t get it

@mirocu100 It's a rail shooter like you'd find in an arcade, when they still were open. It's the same style of game as Time Crisis or Virtua Cop.

@darkchiron Never heard the term rail shooter before. Seems like a royal pain trying to aim at something, even more frustrating than in CoC when you didn´t get a weapon for the first half hour and kept loosing them XD

Btw I must ask what you think of Doom 3 if you ever played it?

@mirocu100 Never played it, but I've seen a fair bit of gameplay about it.Seems like an alright FPS, but a failure as a horror game. I say that only because most of it relies on things jumping out of the dark screaming "OOGA BOOGA!!!" rather than anything else. Maybe I'm wrong.

@manuel140p It seems so, but the introduction cinematic that shows gameplay footage showed some of this game takes place during Resident Evil 2.

@darkchiron You are very much correct. That´s what it´s really all about. Every attack is so heavily scripted you can feel it and there are many aspects about the gameplay I have strong opinions about.

In conclusion, not my kind of game

Operation Javier takes place 2 years before the events of RE4.

theyve done fixed camera angle resi games and 3rd person resi games they just need to do a first person shooter resi game and theyve got the whole set

Then again dead space had some awesome things in it like holding the remote/zapper gangsta style to get alternate fire mode, and pistol whipping zombies.
