Mutli-media recording artist/producer, Dean Friedman, created the world's first VR (Virtual Reality) video game for TV, 'Eat-a-Bug', which aired on Nickelodeon TV's 'Total Panic'. Subsequently, his company, InVideo, produced VR game segments for TV, Theme Parks, Science Museums and Children's Museums around the world.

This is a sampling of a dozen VR games that Dean Friedman / InVideo programmed for the hit Nickelodeon TV series, 'Nick Arcade'. The show was hosted by Phil Moore.

InVideo is a form of camera-based VR which does not require helmets, gloves or peripherals of any kind. It preceded the Nintendo Wii by more than a decade.

  • I used to want to go into that game room more than anything in my life.

  • @xFIRERUSHx You're mistaken, Firerush. The players are watching themselves on large TV monitors (off screen) and are reacting in real-time to the animated objects that are flying around them. The green-screen technology allows them to see themselves immersed in a dynamic and responsive virtual world - but every duck, leap, grab and dodge is the real-time visceral response of the players interacting 'live' to the virtual world. There's nothing 'staged' about it.
