@koomran I think Arequipa Peru in the Cayma or Yanahuara neighborhoods is a great place to live. Umacollo neighborhood is good too. The people friendly, the food is great and the weather is good and the economy is good but your dollar will still go far. Avg. rent for a three bedroom apt in the good part of the city, as of July 2011 is about $325 a month. Lima is expensive. I don't know much about Ecuador, but I've heard it's nice and your dollar will go far there too.

@1027eja It completely depends on your preferences. There are a few places in Latin America to which you could go. I know of Americans in at least 7 countries and I'm sure there are many more in all of the countries of Latin America. It would be good if you knew some people in the country that you choose to go to.

You are right on many points. However, read the entire Chapter 17 of Revelations, where there is discription of "Babylon the Great". The Great Harlot is described, then the Angel explains the mystery with a puzzle. Precisely who the players are is debatable, but the harlot is a great city (not a nation) riding a beast comprised of 7 heads (kings or kingdoms) and 10 horns (kings). It sounds more like an alliance of nations with one city as the base of operations. Read more.
