Back to Before from Ragtime. I changed the key and a few of the words, but what are you gonna do? This is from my Senior Cabaret at the Atlantic Music Academy, accompanied by Mr. Stephen Esche.

Enjoy!

  • Thank you, everyone! Your comments really mean a lot to me. Believe me, I am aware this video is FARRRRRRR from perfect but I just felt like sharing it. Thanks for not being too harsh about it, haha. I haven't done this song since last May and would love to return to it someday soon with another year of training and experience under my belt.

  • You are unreal. Such a pure tenor. I hope i see you on broadway soon :)

  • Thanks for the comments, everyone. And @mt4ever16 Broadway would be nice! Haha, but we'll see.

  • Yes, there were a few phrases where you were just SLIGHTLY flat, such as each time you had to sing "unafraid to be weak". But when it came time for you to belt some of those harder stronger notes, YOU HIT 'EM SPOT ON!!!!!! I am VERY impressed! especially with "or they might have been WRONG" that's the first time you REALLY blew my socks off in this song! You hit that note PERFECTLY. And from 3:05 the the end of the song, PERFECT! Thanks for sharing this! You are gunna go FAR!

  • A clean, criisp, and clear tenor. A couple of pitchy problems but totally forgiveable because you did more then sing this song, you inhabited it. It was breathtaking. Such a great young talent.

  • "Sturdy young men at the oar" was flat in your head voice, but everything else was pretty good!

  • wow, haters, back off! If you didn't notice, mrahlersscience , Arron Tveit was the first one to sing this, and since then, they've changed the key and lyrics to accommodate males. wow, so calm yourself. He did an excellent job.

  • get it baby!
