1. Everyone reading your comment knows what an alphabet is, making your comment useless.
2. Chinese has no alphabet. Its writing system is logographic.
3. In some languages, the words for "letter" and "alphabet" are indistinct. Sometimes speakers of these languages forget to make a distinction between them when speaking English.
