  • "Every morning, when I was up, I have twenty-four brand-new hours to live, and this is such a precious gift.

I have the ability to live in such a way that these twenty four hours will bring me peace, joy and happiness."

This is so beautiful, wise and true that it brings tears to my eyes. Thank you.

  • We need more of this in the modern world. There is so much pain and suffering in the postmodern condition; I would say that most of my contemporaries are nihilists without realizing it. The psychological pain that is caused by a sense of meaninglessness often leads to a reckless hedonism and despair. At Cambridge University recently there were three undergrad suicides within the space of a few weeks. We need more wisdom and compassion in the modern world; Thay can help us here.

  • ooo thx for that.
