Healthcare Action at DC Marriott

"Wallstreet comes to Washington", an event at the Marriott where the same investment bankers that caused the criminal financial meltdown of our financial system were meeting to see how they could profit from our healthcare industry.
When we arrived we stormed the lobby, Margaret Flowers, MD (one of the Stop the Machine organizers was already inside at the meeting and spoke up about their obscene objectives. She was thrown out and as you can see from the video a sit down occurred, first outside, then inside.
Police arrived in force, but exercised restraint while we continued our demonstration until its completion. No arrests were made.
People passing by including fireman on a firetruck voiced their support for what we were doing.
