i'm a big noob, so could someone please explain the difference between streetboarding and snakeboarding?

@pho3nixphir3 They are the same thing. Most people know the sport as "snakeboarding" bcz Snakeboard was the name of a streetboard company some years back. Today, however, they are both commonly used to mean the same thing.

You're exactly right. Many guys use streetboarding as off-season snowboard training (and for some it is the opposite). The sport is growing quickly, largely due to people like you.
