A person hates it when somebody they "care" about (meaning their existence and well being determined your thoughts and actions) is happy because they're not with 'them'. @ziploxk that has nothing to do with this song. sure, everyone has problems at home, but this song isn't about being mad at your parents.. if you don't know that he's talking about his father who was never there for him then i'm not sure how you interpreted the lyrics. a father figure in your prepubescent life is more important than most people care to notice.
