Air Farce's Don Ferguson - Hostess chips commercial - 1979

Back when Royal Canadian Air Farce was on CBC Radio, Don Ferguson appeared in an advertising campaign for Hostess. Don was the face of Hostess Tortilla Chips across multiple platforms (we even have a copy of the print ad hanging on the wall in the Air Farce offices).

For years, Don -- along with the rest of the Air Farce gang -- appeared in literally hundreds of commercial parodies on Royal Canadian Air Farce, both on TV and on radio. But this is the real deal: an actual, vintage TV commercial, not a parody from the legendary, highly-rated, and long-running CBC comedy series.

Here's a copy of Don's 1979 TV commercial for Hostess. This has not been seen in over 30 years! And if you're eating chips while reading this ... you may want to put them down until after watching. Heed Don's warning. Practice safe snacks.
