The very basic natural instinct for the human mind is to make an image out of shapes in order to clearly identify. they (scientists and archeologists alike) have proven after years of study that the number one image the mind tends to create out of distorted shapes is a face, wether human or animal. thus is the reason two girls staring at the sun for hours in Spain (how genius was that?) saw an image of the Virgin Mary, which in reality was more likely lenghty exposure damage to the cornea.
