Here's a 200-point A-spec run at The Ring. It's crucial to get the McLaren to start as close to you as possible, and having the Avantgarde in the lineup makes 200 pointers difficult.

Can't win by driving bad, and can't win by driving clean... I think I would've picked up about 5 Black Flags for this one (at least!)... Check out the wildness as I approach the final turn!

Anyway, I'm still trying to win Opera as a 200 pointer, as well as the SL Challenge race @ Apricot Hill. Those two are toughies with this car (as 200 pointers).

is it possible to win with the sl600r129 with the same setup?

I'd say yes, but I've never tried. The SL600 has a bit of an edge on the SL500, so the A-spec total might be lower. I imagine you'll still have to do some blocking down the back straight, and/or some wallriding and/or some lawnmowing. But if you have no aversions to running like this, then I say go for it! Thanks, zalmiak! It's really a matter of practice for me, since this was something I was working on for a couple of days.

I don't, nor would I, drive like this in real life, but when winning is the only goal, lawnmowing, wallriding and bashing into opponents/walls are allowed! :)

This car, in fact, can pull 200-point sweeps for the SL Challenge, Legends of the Silver Arrow, and Scharzwald Liga B. I hope to have video later...

Only you could make a 340 Hp SL600 beat a 620 hp SLR McLaren. Your SL had to have a much less power to weight ratio than the SLR.
