the song and singing were very good, but the scenery was great!

It's obvious that Jeff has talent but the musical score to Broadway is pedantic and all centered around the same few pitches and there is no musical line.

I agree with the above comment. But no song can do justice to Jeff's versatility. As I remember, this song severed a function and a moment in the show very well.
