I wanted to see what it sounded like, it didn't sound great. Better with muffler.

  • I wish it was my property. This is at the Antique Gas and Steam engine museum in Vista, Ca North of San Diego. I am a member, so we get the pleasure of getting these old tractors running again.

  • I believe all 2-stroke Detroits have a supercharger of some sort, some have a turbo in addition. I don't think the blower is boosting much over 1 bar.

  • @mpwelk correct the blower wasnt as much about adding power as it was allowing it to function... these things need a scavenging effect to run... thats what the blower did

  • @toddly2009 correct they will not

  • @AMCtilldeath i dont think they will run without a blower will they?

  • @mpwelk Nope it isn't, they breathe into the cylinders at just over atmospheric pressure. Turbo does some to help but you can only put some much air behind a blower that can't handle more than it's made for.

  • looks like it doesnt even have a turbo

  • has this got a super charger?

  • IS THAT AN OLD BULL DOZER OR WHAT??

  • healthy!!!!!

  • I thought I recognized the place.
