This is for all the American Christianity community... How do you feel about all the outstanding evidence of Pre-Deluvien Ancient Civilizations? The ones that our starting civilizations build on top of? Is that just the devils trickery? I'm sure I'm about to be verbally assulted by this comment, but I just want to test this post.....

@RiseoftheAncients From my study of the Bible and of the so-called evidence of civilization before Genesis, I believe it is both a misunderstanding of the facts and of the Scripture as well. I do know some Christians who believe the theory you pose and it fits into their belief systems, but there is no history recorded before 6000 years ago. That's a fact. So what evidence are you speaking of? If it's radiocarbon dating, it depends upon radiation making it untrustworthy.

@vudumojo the fact of radiocarbon dating issue can be danced around, so let me ask you about how you think the sites of Ajanta Caves in India, Churches of Lalibela in Ethiopia, and City of Baalbek in Lebanon were created with the technologies of the time? Such as the Ajanta Caves being carved directly of a cliff face. And with Churches of Lalibela being created out of a single stone. Or the fact that parts of Baalbek being Vitrified?

@RiseoftheAncients There is no doubt ancients BEFORE THE FLOOD had advanced technology, but the flood was 1600 years after Genesis 1.

In the last 500 years WE have gone from casting canon in sand in Columbus' day to metallurgy and other ADVANCED technologies today. 1600 years is over 3 times as long as that.

Genesis 4:22 "And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron: and the sister of Tubalcain [was] Naamah."

@RiseoftheAncients Bibles from corrupted manuscripts will corrupt our thinking; all Bibles are not created equal. Having said that, God has always existed, the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. He has and will always exist. So yes, in a manner of speaking time is endless in both directions, from GOD'S point of view. However, there was a day when God CREATED THE EARTH and all that are on it around 6000 years ago.

@Thedevontree It's not about religious people though my friend, it's about the word of the Creator and whether or not *YOU* will trust him or not. Ignore what other PEOPLE do and say; it's between you and your Creator and nobody else.

I stay as far away from religion as aids, herpes and vd and so should you but don't blame the Bible for what PEOPLE do.

I've never heard of a Book of Enoch. I'd heard of a few "lost gospels" (the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Judas, etc), but I regard them as rubbish. The sixty-six books in the traditional translations are what I recognize as truth.

So...What is everyones opinion on 'aliens' then. This actually is a pertenant question, and yes there is a valid reason for asking this 'odd' question.
