A Few Questions for Trinitarians.

Question number 1 and question number 5 contain points that explicitly reveal who the God of the Shema is.Let's all pay attention to scripture.As a former JW,I can honestly say that if you can't empty yourself of all you've ever believed(suspecting conscientiously something is wrong somewhere)God CANNOT fill you with spirit and truth and will allow you to remain in error.He appreciates humility and that involves emptying yourself of you and your traditions just to make sure what he reveals to you is congruent with your cherished beliefs(that should be questioned).It disheartens me to say the least to see so many ex JW's embrace another belief system handed to them from more deceived men for lack of having the milk established and the easy tools to defeat men's sophistry,to overcome the implanting of yet more "theological persuasions" that have no real basis in explicit bible revelations.Insidious and concerning deceptions abound.And it is precisely because I love and care about you that I tell the truth here.Could I really say I love you if I was willing to let you believe lies when the truth is so freeing,important,and simple?

Btw,I'm not a sacred name movementer(if you might have been wondering)..I just like using more accurate pronunciations of the 2 most important names in the world ..that's all.I still slip and say Jehovah and Jesus A LOT.

@BingsTV 1 Cor. 2:11:For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

Your spirit "knows" your thoughts.Does this make it a second person in you?If your spirit cries our,greives,(etc.),do you suddenly have a second person?If God's spirit is his third person and your spirit isn't a person separate from you,how could 1 Cor. possibly make such a comparison here?

@BingsTV God is in his spirit comforting.In that sense,it IS God.Because it's God comforting by his spirit!Comforter is also a masculine gender term in greek,as Wisdom is a female gender word.Wisdom was translated as "she" for that reason.Comforter can be translated as "he" for that reason.God's spirit is compared to OUR spirits.

Let's address that in light of your Point #4 "Did you know even trinitarian scholars have to admit ..." .

And since you're playing fast and loose with Definitions, permit me to do likewise: Merriam-Websters defines SCHOLAR as "a person who attends a school or studies under a teacher : pupil". trinitarian scholars have to admit John 1:1 is POETRY?

@howdytheresir: Jesus in John 16:7> "If I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you" The Holy Spirit is not merely "God's breath" nor is the Holy Spirit a force. He is a person. Jesus says, "I will send HIM to you". Instead of trying to concoct "new revelations", wouldn't it be easier to just accept what the Bible says. Trusting in Judge Russell's "new revelation" is what got you into the JW's.

@BingsTV wait..I meant to say that hebrew and greek words are assigned genders..but that doesn't make them a male or a female person.Logos is a masculine word but the lexical definition is "a word, uttered by a living voice, embodies a conception or idea"..other defs. I've found are "plan","reason","declaration".­.etc.Jesus was the plan,thoughts,and gospel(etc.) OF God manifest as flesh.
