Today I have a Valentine Card tutorial for you. Here's the products used to make this Valentines card.

Blue polka dot background paper - Target Dollar Bin, Calendar collection.
Red patterned paper - Target Dollar Bin, 5x7 Valentine collection. Edged with Creative Memories scallop scissor.
Grid Index card- Distressed with Tea Dye Distress ink and nail file.
Lovey Dovey Birds - K & Company Sweet Talk Postage Stamps patterned paper. Edges distressed with Tea Dye ink.
Heart - Martha Stewart 1 inch punch, Embossed with UTEE 4 times.
Button - From my stash. I tied white string in a bow to add more interest.

The Foam that I used with my Distress Ink was inside a box of earrings that I got from Avon.

Thanks for taking the time to watch. Have a wonderful day!!!

  • Nice! Gonna try this one out for my valentine!:)

  • @TheCHiZziES Thank You! Your Valentine will love it! Have fun creating! :)

  • GET OUT! The inside stuff a jewelry box?!!!! I LOVE IT LOVE IT when someone comes up with a way to do something with what ordinarily would be just discarded! Cute card!!!

  • Thank you SO MUCH!!! Yep, its just the foam that comes in the jewelery boxes. I didn't have a blender tool yet (finally got one today) so I searched around the house for foam that could be comparable to the foam on the blending tool. And that's what I came up with! Works pretty darn good too! :) Thank for commenting and watching!!

  • This is so cute! I considered buying some little kid's valentines cards that I just love this year but thought I'd better stick with some more adult ones for family and friends. Your example shows the best pairing of the two! Thanks so much.

  • Thank you very much! I really appreciate your sweet comment. I'm glad you liked this card. It's quick to put to together so that will help if you have a few to make. Happy Valentines Day!
