From their incredible Reunion Concert Live! recorded at the historic Bijou Theatre Centre in Knoxville, TN, Nov 9,2001, almost two months to the day after the tragic events of 9/11. This 2 1/2 hour concert was recorded for both CD and DVD. This song, a medley of the great folk ballad, All My Trials, and the moving old gospel spiritual, Goin' Home, was performed by the Trio when they were actively performing in the folk era of the '60s. The melody to Goin' Home is from the great composer Dvorak's New World Symphony. The Cumberland trio's great websites are located at www.cumberlandtrio.com and www.myspace.com/thecumberlandtrio . There are 37 live concert videos of the Trio now up on You Tube. Just type "the cumberland trio" in the www.youtube.com search box. From left to right are Tom Kilpatrick on 2nd lead guitar, Jerre Haskew on rhythm guitar and Andy Garverick on 1st lead guitar. Tom handles the solo verses on this one with great aplomb. The cello player is the great multi-instrumentalist Lou Wamp, best in the world. You can buy all the Trio's CD's & DVD's at www.cdbaby.com, type cumberland trio in the search box. Just sit back and watch/listen to the Trio's incredible harmonies, unrivaled in folk music of then and now. ENJOY!! :-)

  • I am totally impressed with the gorgeous voices and playing, to know also that Lou Wamp had not played his cello for 12 years, he is brilliant..

  • What a wondrous medley with great tenor solo vocals and beautiful harmonies! These guys just keep getting better! And this is a classic in more ways than one using Dvorak's melody from his New World Symphony on the second part. Great instrumental solo by the cello player. This is just moving....just moving....
