...that's Pat Harrington as the cookie nut-job portraying that wanna-be Lawrence Welk "don't touch me, are you union" fella...now isn't that the funniest get-up since that hard-working father he was on "One Day At A Time" TV show of the late 1970's ??

I've read, I think it was in one of Mr. Allen's books, that in that classic bit, Allen caught a glimpse of himself in the monitor, and found the sight of his straight hair hanging down around his face under his hat a hoot. It struck, as you say, his funnybone.
