@manongblack lack of checks and balance in the government. that's why corruption between politicians and government officials are well common. there's corruption in politics even in US government. but very rare and mostly like caught. because of checks and balance. when the police in the city is corrupt or city officials are corrupt, the state would appoint FBI to investigate such things. and it goes one way to the other.

Can someone explain what happened to our country after Pres. Marcos' left the leadership of the government? Can someone count the numbers of infrastructure prjects (schools, hospitals, cultural center, roads, kidney center, lung center, heart center, airports and seaports) that marcos administration built, compare it to later administrations? The EDSA is the result of too much politics in the Philippines. We considered Ninoy Aquino as hero who was a COMMUNIST SYPHATIZER, and what have he done?
