as said before, this vid is being done by count. If It was being done to his own time and interpretation im sure it would be an entirely different kata. I also feel that if you are not above this level then maybe you dont have the right to comment.

I had seen many highly graded karateka in Seido perform kata so beautifully its what really inspired me to persist... isnt that that the spirit of OSU?

Ah so Seienchin is practically the same as Seiyunchin. Although I appreciate the fluidity of the Goju style more.

@ghkouroulis Yes it is straight out of goju ryu.....as kyokushin is a hybrid of shotokan and goju ryu ..masoyama studied both styles and as a result, he extracted the best of both to create his style

having done some kyokushin and more recently some goju karate, I find myself coming back to this video often. It illustrates the differences in styles and schools in the same katas - the emphasis on certain steps and different timings between steps really drive home how much I like kyokushin (as well as goju) Osu and thanks
