I said I don't think it reflects badly on her integrity as a person, and don't think it was dishonesty. I just meant it might suggest a certain lack of creativity as an artist. I wouldn't even say that really negative though, since I think it could happen to even a great writer. Something you heard or read years before can rattle around you brain, and it is easy to forget the source and think it is an original idea.

Very intentional! In interviews Steve talks about living in an apartment on Jones Street and helping tourists recreate the album cover photo (of the Freewheeling Bob Dylan for those who don't know). He doesn't live there now, though.

Miranda Lambert's Kerosene. Another comment said she ripped off, which is not entirely true. Kerosene is the same song, different lyrics, but he did get credit. Doesn't say much about her as an artist, but I don't think it is a mark on her integrity.
