Gran Turismo 5: Introduction to Rally Driving (GT5) Sports

For my first Machinima Sports video I wanted to give you guys a basic introduction to rally driving techniques using a driving wheel. I superimposed video of my wheel over the cockpit view to give you a good feel of the driving dynamics. Use the tuning guide below along with the video and you'll be up and running with some legit rally driving skills in no time.

Logitech Driving Force GT wheel and pedals
Manual transmission, all aids off including TCS, ABS set to 1, Grip Reduction is Real
Aerodynamics: Front & Rear: MAX
Engine Tuning: Stage 3
Power Limiter: 90.8%
Transmission: DEFAULT
LSD Front: DEFAULT
LSD Rear: Initial Torque 30, Acceleration Sensitivity 45, Braking Sensitivity 20
Front/Rear Torque Split: Front 40, Rear 60
Suspension: Everything DEFAULT except Front Camber 1.6, Front Toe 0.05
Brake Balance: Front 7, Rear 5

@xXGears2FTWXx the lead designer of gt5 was quoted saying he didn't want to put full damage in the game until he could make it completely realistic which i will agree is kind of a cop out but i do have to say professional racing teams aren't using forza to practice they use gt5. sebastian vettel from formula 1 has a partnership with gt5 and polyphony digital has their own racing team in the lmp2 lemans series. in the end both games are great though i have all the forza games and 3 gt games.

You probably think Forza is and arcade game because you are to scared to play without assists. Try it with no assists, simulation steering and manual w/clutch and then tell me it is an arcade racer.
