I belive he knew something was going to happen..The way he closes his eyes is melting my heart and making me cry each and every time i watch this footage.Rest in peace Ayrton...You were and still are the best.Never to be forgotten.....

Senna has a pensive, hunted look in his eyes in this footage. I believe he knew he was going to die, or at least had experienced a premonition. He NEVER looked so ill at ease as he did at Imola. Senna was always brim full of confidence before a race. He looks like a man who knows his time has come.......So sad. RIP Senna- The Greatest Of All.

I think his expression was a combination of things, the events of the weekend and the fact he was in the "car to beat" but unfortunately had yet to gain any points spinning out in both races doing what he does best. Trying with everything he's got to win the race.
