Lieberman acts as if "let's assume the best ... let's assume that nothing bad will happen" is a remotely reasonable thing to say about a vice-presidential pick. Even putting aside McCain's age and health, the *entire reason for vice presidents* is the fact that bad things can and do happen...

@thedmundfitz Perhaps "the rich" should work for MINIMUM WAGE for a year or two....watch that minimum wage go up REGULARLY once the likes of YOU are in the situation where you have to make a living that way!

Never say never! Plenty of people were making comfortable living with jobs that suddenly evaporated. Many college graduates with lots of experience in gainful employment are now working for minimum wage.

If politicians (and millionaires) were called to combat first, we'd have fewer wars!
