  • Alan Merrill performed this song and 21 other songs in London at the rock club Lexington in Islington a few weeks ago, Nov 5th, 2011.

  • Arrows singer Alan Merrill did an amazing live version of this at Duo Exchange Tokyo a few weeks ago with a big backing band. The audience went crazy. He also did his hits from the band Vodka Collins that he is the singer of.

  • @fabnekko He did this song again in Yokohama last month at Club Sensation, backed up by the band Tensaw. He did this song along with about 25 other songs and played two sets a night.

  • Arrows in Japan! Cool!

  • @chickenindaloo Alan Merrill of the Arrows just did a great show at Club Crocodile in Tokyo August of 2010, and he will be back in Japan at Club Sensation in Yokohama Japan in November 2010, playing there for several nights.

  • tsunami ?sashimi !? RIP Hiroshi Oguchi, one of a legendary drammer.

  • There was just a show on BBC2 last weekend in England (July 16 2011) about "secrets of the pop song" and they showed Alan singing the original "I love rock n roll" with the Arrows from 1975.

  • @yellowvespa04 No, they are unrelated.

  • @tsunamisasumi

Is the Club Crocodile in Japan anything like/has a connection with The Crocodile Cafe in Seattle WA?

  • @thefistoftruth Yes, and also Arrows lead singer Alan Merrill just performed this song at Club Crocodile in Tokyo at the concert for Joe Yamanaka (Flower Travellin Band) on August 11, 2010. It was great.

  • @tsunamisasumi It's for Pepsi Nex, a tv commercial in Japan, but they also just recently released it as a single.

  • Miley Cyrus has covered this song for her Wonder World DVD! Miley rocks this Arrows song!
