  • @dignifiedwhite Plenty off English MSP,s in all the parties at Holyrude,so your miss imformed and wrong. And Scottish MP,s in Westminster, toe the party line. And are told what to vote on bye the whips. What you should worry about,is the SNP getting seats down there. And then you might have something to complain about. As they wont get pushed around bye the back benchers whips. And there are not down there yet.But you never know, the way things are going. It could happen the next time, lets hope so.

  • @legandrydirk What really worries you is that if the English had a say in it then Scotand would have full independence, which despite your bluster, is not what you really want, since literally EVERY person I have asked here in the South of England is keen on Scottish independence. We want freedom from Scottish rule.

  • @Alastairbell Logie Baird's TV used moving parts - it wasn't purely electronic - and was superseded by superior devices within a few years. Scotland became eminent in literature, philosophy, science and invention, only after the union was formed. This is an undeniable fact. Trying to pretend everything about the union was bad makes you look like an unserious person, a loser. Alex Salmond is a serious man (supports the England footie team etc) which is why he is popular in England, and a winner.

  • @legandrydirk The Enlgish certainly don't want the status quo.It is intolerable that in a so called democracy Scottish MPs can affect English affairs but English MPs can't affect Scottishh affairs. If the Scots get cold feet about independence then I would not be surprised if English nationalism starts to pick up. It is already far more noticeable than it was say 20 yeasr ago.

  • @legandrydirk There are more people in England who want Scottish independence than there are in Scotland, several opinon polls have shown that. There was one in the Telegraph the other day, for instance. What voters do in the General Election has no relevance, as on election day Scottish independence to English voters is obviously a small issue when compared to jobs and the economy and the NHS.

  • @dignifiedwhite Is that your theory? that scots was only intellegent after the union was formed!! LMAO! I have heard it all now!!! The television was and still is one of the most pioneering invention of our modern times! We use it day in and day out!!! Eveybody on the planet does as well and the telephone!!!! You really do speak utter rubbish!!!!

  • @dignifiedwhite I dont believe that at all.More English are in favour off the union. And is showen on the biggest poll off all,the election day.Where England votes for there safe little unionist parties.Clear in the knowlege that bye doing so.They are protecting the union, and the status quo.

  • @Alastairbell Logie baird's TV wasn't much good, in truth. U miss out many heavyweights, anyway. James Clerk Maxwell, George Lyell, Adam Smith, David Hume, James Hutton, James Boswell. It must be pointed out, however, that this great flowering of Scottish intellectual genius was most definitely AFTER union with England.

  • @legandrydirk The English only want to have a say because they are worried that the Scottish will vote "No". There are more English in favour of Scottish independence than there are Scots, so it would really be a good idea if we all had a vote!

(And if the Scottish people vote "No", then we in England must have a referendum to vote for our independence.)

  • yeah fuck off scotland u ginger nutttttttttttttttttttttttts
