Tom Poston mentioned an actress friend of his during the questioning named Dumont...that is Margaret Dumont who appeared in support of leading man Poston in the film Zotz in 1962.

She was wonderful!

Hi NorbertR33,
Thank you for putting this tribute to Leatrice Joy. She was one of the best actresses of the silent era. A fact: She both influenced Katharine Hepburn and Bette Davis to become actresses. They were fans of Leatrice when they were teenagers.

@Drivermatic Yes, Kitty did seem to know everybody. I once spoke to her over the telephone and she was as lovely and gracious as you would imagine. She is certainly missed.

@karlakor This is a video on youtube called, HOLLYWOOD: Star Treatment, part 3 of 5, in which Leatrice is interviewed about John Gilbert. There is also the answer to one of the questions asked of the contestants about who brought Garbo to America, the Swedish director Mauritz Stiller, and pictures of Garbo in Sweden, in which she is rather funny looking.

@Gnillob802 There was a ballplayer by that name, but there was also an actor and director by that name as well.

Leatrice Joy is on Find A Grave. Her picture their shows her great beauty as a young woman. On Whats My Line, Leatrice, was still a beautiful woman. What a grand Lady.
