It is sheer pleasure to listen to this - for me, although I really like Bonitatibus and Invernizzi, definitely the most beautiful version of this aria on YouTube. Which seems incredible, as it should be so much more easy for a woman to sing this than for a countertenor, in head voice. Well, that´s Jaroussky.

@mrchrille1 Of course it matters. He's sexy, he sings divine, being gay makes him perfect.

@HerrWarja Yes. Exactly, the introduction to "Vivi tiranno"
Sadly the noble art of singing as a countertenor, has nowadays become a question of sexuality. What one forget is that the songs and music where often composed to fit male-soprano voices. Seems odd to us, but not then. To sing like this requires very hard training and it has absolutly nothing to do with sexuality. This is only modern error of logic...

Philipe Jarousky is one of most proeminent artist of it's time, Sensitive, Inteligent, refined and interesting as a person and of course as one Artist... He brings passion to his work and also the ability of researching Barroque music that no ones know Those are the reason I love this artist. People who has problems with there dualities they are always talking about sexuality, please can we go a litle higher than that. thanks
