  • Not only that, but someone needs to shoot the clarinet player! And all those added little bits that Sullivan did not write were neither necessary nor an improvement.

  • The lead singer and chorus do a great job on "When I was a lad"; I think for members of the audience hearing it for the first time it would be a great introduction to G&S. However, the poor sound quality makes the orchestral accompaniment quite distracting. I am no singer or musician, but from what I can tell looking at other performances on Youtube, the best versions are those which try to get the vocals and music as close to the original as possible.

  • Peculiar uniforms, Russian navy, maybe? Certainly nothing like British nayy from any period

  • When I find that bassoonist, and I will, I will slap them for every whiny, pinched note they played.

  • @RossiniSoprano Amen. God its horrid isn't it.

  • wow im doing this as a school play and sir josheph is soo good!!

  • I have to do this play in Choir.

  • Great song, but the sound quality is not great, to say the least

  • Wonderful!
