'the department' which is funded by tax dollars, the boots are not paid for by the individual officers as they are essential PPE (personal protective equipment) they must be supplied by 'the department' which is funded by tax dollars. And yes, the cops pay tax themselves, but so does the 'thug' or anyone else standing up for YOUR rights. Even those on welfare do, whenever they buy anything that is subject to sales tax, fuel tax etc. they also pay income tax, it is taken before they receive it.

Cuffs and teargas provided by the department. The boots are paid for by the individual officers. The cops pay taxes too. So they pay into their own salaries and equipment as well. The thug getting stomped probably was on welfare anyways(has free time to start trouble at a local civil disturbance event). Hope he enjoyed the free government service.

I really wish there was a step by step how to on tax evasion/revolt. I can't figure out how to stop funding the gov't via taxes without ending up in jail, or on the street.
