Nuclear Non-Proliferation Review Conference

Every five years more than 100- countries who signed on to the nuclear-non-proliferation treaty meet to review its effectiveness. The 2010 conference began at the United Nations Monday where a war of words erupted between the U.S. and Iran. UTTM's Frank Ucciardo has the story.

honestly, nuclear arms have kept the major powers at bay for years. If we get rid on nukes, we are back to trench warfare like gripped the world in 1914 or maneuver warfare like that used by Russia and Germany, killing 20 million in combat alone. Please, I don't like nukes either, but its purprose was to deter war ( I mean major wars, not Viet nam or Iraq) and has done that. If you look at americas track record in Nuclear Activities it wouldn't suprise you how much they haven't stick to their words, if you look at their track record of fighting terrorism you will see that the USA has been the biggest promoter of terrorism, if you look at america helping the poor you will realise how much poorer it had made many countries, now you ask your self is america right for this world and for world peace? Its an absolute disgrace how the americans claim to speak about Nuclear disarment when they cant do it them selves. They have used Nuclear bombs against 2 countries and continue to threaten to nuke soverign states.
