Welcome to Capital Account. Today is a special episode, because not only do we have commodities and resource expert Rick Rule on the show, but fan favorite Jim Rickards is guest co-hosting with our own Lauren Lyster!

In today's news, European Central Bank President Mario Draghi said policymakers will do what is needed to save the Euro. This comment was enough to spur a bout of market euphoria. But how do you invest around what a policymaker may or may not say? How do you hedge against volatility created by governments, central banks, and their central planners? We will talk to Rick Rule, Founder of Sprott Global Resource Investments and a leader in natural resource investing.

Also, former Citigroup CEO Sanford Weill, who helped build the behemoth Citigroup is today, now advocates for breaking up the big banks. We talk to our guest co-host Jim Rickards, Senior Managing Director at Tangent Capital Partners, about the significance and motivation behind Sanford Weill's statements.

Fidelity, Black Rock, and Vanguard, firms that collectively manage more than $7 trillion, are weighing legal action against the banks investigated for rigging Libor, according to Bloomberg. Could this mean more class action lawsuits are on the way?

Instead of reinstating the Glass-Stegal regulations, they instead should repeal the legal-tender money laws. When everyone is forced to use the same currency, that currency can be inflated like crazy without people trading it off for a better one. Where do all these investment banks get their big money to speculate with? The Federal Reserve. We don't need to "return" to 1933-1999. Instead, we need to return to the much-freer markets that existed prior to 1913. Ron Paul is right about this.

Instead of waging endless wars, we could simply share all the world's resources among nations. Why should oil found in the U.S. or Saudi Arabia only belong to those countries? Same with water and other resources. Every country has something to offer, just share everything as equally as possible, problem solved.

I saw this picture since I eventually got extremely concerned with the economy and had no idea how to handle it. Bucks does not always mean anything anymore. So I chose to do a little exploration and came across Goldiverse. I\'m certainly so lucky, I can change my savings from cash to many different currencies, to any precious metal whenever I would like. The government can go and take a jump for all I care. Just Google or bing it Goldiverse.

They aren't selling "their" gold. They buy wholesale bullion and sell it to people, but guys like Turk, Maloney, and Sprott are heavily invested themselves in the metals. So they do indeed practice what they preach, which gives them way more legitimacy IMO.

Ambitious and smart people will always figure out a way to steal from others. Those people can be banks, business, law makers, bureaucrats or anyone else who can get away with it at least temporarily. The art of stealing has been raised to such a high level of sophistication, that a revolution with muskets firing upon canons will not work again. We will have to let the entire financial and thus political system collapse. But will we be lucky enough to have wise men take over?

What a waste of 2 minutes at the beginning of the show. Everything she says there is going to be talked about anyway.

I like the shows where you trim the redundant into and kill that segment at the end w/ Demitri and Shannon. That's about 5 extra minutes for the guests.
