  • I have 2 groups on fb called "Families Dealing With Suicide" and "Families Dealing With Suicide, The Next Chapter". I found my dad hanging in my bedroom, what will be, 10 years ago September the 17th. I was 16. He left behind me 16, my brother 15, and my two little sisters 9 and 10. Our mum too. They had been together since senior school. He was just 38 years old. I can relate to this video... It has been posted to my group x

  • very helpful gentle video. Thankyou

  • Great little film. Not melodramatic, just truthful. Well done to those who made it and the interviewees. I'm sure this will help people.

  • Thanks,my friend Gavin took his own life just over a year ago.I can identify with the feelings expressed in this video,it has helped me.All the best.Gary.

  • Angela and Andy are very brave for talking about this publicly, the more survivors come forward, the more understanding there will be amongst society. The stigma will lessen and the support and awareness will increase. There are so many people out there that need help dealing with the issues surrounding a loved ones suicide. SOBS do an excellent job but still need help. If you have been affected by suicide or think you can help them pick up the phone now. It makes all the difference.

  • Please watch this video. Suicide is still such a hard thing to understand for a lot of people and still in this day an age, a taboo subject for some. This is not the way it should be. For the people left behind, it's heart-breaking. SOBS (Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide) is an amazing charity who need all the support they can get. The help they give the people lwho are left with the grief of losing a loved one is so needed. Thank you to Angela and Andy for telling their story.
