  • @christineglamazon Have you read Ellroy's essay "Choirboys"?

  • @idak12 - You can't go wrong reading Wambaugh when it comes to cop stories. His story cops are three-dimensional realistic people with both strengths and character flaws, navigating story worlds based on Wambaugh's real life experience and stories he's heard from fellow cops. Reading his work made me appreciate all the more what cops do, the crap they have to put up with and the sacrifices they make so that we can have a civilization of any kind.

  • @christineglamazon I am ready the new centurians now , what do u think of it and chiorboys have u read that 1 too.

  • I have all of this earlier books through "Floaters" and have just started adding his latest "Hollywood" series. He's one of the best cop writers ever; he and Ellroy are my literary heroes. But then, I love cops.

  • Thanks Joe. I'm on the fourth book by you. I really enjoy reading you G-d bless you.
