Dude, I was about to agree with you whole-heartedly! I too, think it's ridiculous that a computer should drive your car when you should learn the skills to do it properly.

But, ABS and traction control are a totally different matter. ABS can compensate for slipping or unstability in the road that you wouldn't feel otherwise. And traction control helps in slippery situations because it distributes power to the wheels with the most grip (something you can't replicate alone).

@ratmbloodstar haha...I can't believe no one ever called you on what you said for all this time. Auto parking is stupid. But ABS and traction control?! Those things don't take away from a competent driver, they compliment skills. So when some A-hole pulls out in front of you in the rain, you'd rather pump your own brakes than have a system help you stop quicker and more safely?

no, it's like saying why are having a computer drive your car when you can drive just as efficiently with your brain. I don't see any benefit of buying computer to drive when I can drive just fine for free. I don't need abs or traction control or any of that crap because I know what the hell I'm doing.
