Ok so I just tabbed the melody myself (not the original poster) and I didn't focus on getting the rhythm right (play by feel).
I put nearly of it on the D string so its easy to change to guitar or mandolin or banjo or whatever.
D -0000-555-4-7-0
D -000-777-5-9-5-4-2-(CCC)-22-00
0-54-0-2-4-555 During the CCC part play a C that's lower than the D string (so on a mandolin play G string 5th fret; on guitar, A string 3rd fret). I think the last note stretch 555 is sometimes 575.
