If I remember correctly, the short tour was 89. Kiss played the "Ritz" in NYC and shortly thereafter Paul played there.

I know KISS had their Hot in the Shade tour, so I didn't want to say 89' as I wasn't too sure. Added a year to be safe. ;)

Paul has so much talent, just wish I could've seen him when he was really in his prime, ya know?

Taking nothing away from this guitarist at all, he did a great job. I prefer Ace's solo from the Largo show. It's a shame Ace could not keep it together and stayed with KISS. The difference I spot between the two solos is Ace's is one of a performer and an artist. The other is of a session musician doing his job - he doesn't seem to get lost into it like Ace did with his. Ace and Paul were always my favourite two KISS members.
