This is the full intro of The Holiday. Kate Winslet (Iris) talks about the different kinds of love, with quotes from Shakespeare: "Love is blind" and " Journeys end in lovers meeting".
Love can fade, be lost or just be found for the night. And there is a cruel kind, the one where people fall in love alone.
That's where Iris' problem lies. She is in love with Jasper, but he doesn't love her back. He just uses her feelings.
