Xtreme Ice Skating - Fakie 900

Well one step up from the 720, this is one of the biggest rotations every done on ice in Hockey Skates, Dan Perceval cannot land 720 and he is the "inventor" of Xtreme Skating, so you can tell how big an accomplishment this is! It's kind a stupid ... you are happy that u land 900 on two feet and the figuer skater land quad on one foot... pretty stupid

Ok, you try this in hockey skates, see what happens. Its not trying to better figure skating. I'm not a figure skater, but the guy doing the jump IS. And according to him this is faar harder then quads, simply because to get rotation; unlike figure skates, hockey skates have nothing you can really dig in with, no toe pick or back of the blade etc, so you have to just use the momentum of the twist/

Then only get money for teaching, and not try to capitalise the sport for himself, trying to make other "xtreme" skaters pay to be registered, umm no ill go back to free-style with my group rather then pay thankyou very much.

I all for 'extreme ice skating'.. cause when friends say "why are you figure skating" .... I give them the excuse "its extreme ice skating, a man's sport!"

@HockeySk8er figure skaters don't use the toe pick for axles...and guy figure skaters do quad axles...it would be like using a hockey skates because that jump doesn't require a toe-pick...but respect to this guy anyways...either wall all these moves are hard...(and i'm not trying to get on ur bad side...m just trying to clarify) cool either way xD

Man, it's a new jump. You should name it after yourself. It's like a converse double axel, taking off backwards and landing forward. You should call it a double alex.

If you land 1080 that's a triple loop in hockey skates, which is AMAZING. You really should compete, is there a championship for Xtreme skaters?

@malumniko This kind of rotation on hockey skates is incredible. The vert was impressive by ANY standards. It never fails to amaze me that people are so confident within their ignorance, even to the point of making a negative comments on an obviously difficult move.
