I gave this spaceship a random name and spent a few hours in After Effects piecing the composite together.

The spaceship itself was made in Blender 2.5, rendered out w/ a regular pass & an ambient occlusion pass. Then, the composite was taken into AE and placed in front of a planet background. The planet was also created in After Effects using one texture picture and the CC Sphere effect.

After that, camera shake was added along with a lens flare and specks on the camera lens.

If you want a more in-depth description, I'll consider making a tutorial.

  • Yes,its a general phenomenon that the planets move when a smaller object get in their orbit due to their lowgravity :D... It seems that the only thing moving is the planet ,not the camera.try to fix it a bit
