  • haha, this is so funny, they both look at the page turner thinking "???" when he gets up to turn the last page even though it's the end of the piece

  • Mozart, Beethoven, ...., composers "of their eras"???? Definitely nope. They represent a unique, fantastic ,almost unbelievable phenomenon in History. Their legacy belongs to the Universe and should exist until the end of it.

  • I would be so terrified to be their page turner!

  • @TheRightNeutrino Well, there surely are great composers living today. Arvo Pärt & Steve Reich come to mind. However, how GEAT they are depends on your taste in music and how open you are to innovation. For example, I can't stand John Cage's originality, but many think he's a genius.

  • @th3wing3dpaint3r i didn't mean there should be copies, just like mozart chopin weren't copies of beethoven, i wondered why there are no composers of that caliber today.

  • @TheRightNeutrino How and why would you expect there to be other Beethovens, Mozarts or Chopins? These composers' works were relevant to & expressive of the eras in which they lived. It wouldn't make sense for anyone to try and imitate any of them now.

Besides, why do we need copies if we already have the originals? Music is meant to develop, right?

  • Just amazing this chemistry is!

  • When will there be another mozart or beethoven or chopin? it's been like 200-400 years, common we've suffered enough!

  • Wow
