Greatest rifle of all time. Proud owner of a 1945 Sprinfield Armory M1 Garand. NO it is not the tanker version, it just looks short because of the camera i used. it is the full sized version. Please comment if you like it. The rifle is an authentic, firing M1 Garand used in WW2. It is in PERFECT condition. Throat guage of ZERO. Virtually unfired and in amazing condition.

incorrect. this is real life turn off COD. the 8mm mauser (7.92x57) is a very powerful cartridge. being that it takes somewhere around 180+ grains to take out an elephant, both are right up there and velocity as well. differences are negligable. ever seen 8mm? preeeety hefty. rate as fire is the same, as fast as you can pull. higer CAPACITY is what you mean being 10 in the mag of the gewehr. (pronounced geVer). the M1's 'en-bloc' holds 8 so yes.
