Top Gear Offending Mexico

When i heard in the news that Top Gear got in trouble for saying certain things about Mexico, i thought that people were over reacting. This is just me getting my opinion out there to see who agrees with me. I honestly think no one should get offended by what Clarkson, Hammond + May say, its just their show and it wouldn't be as loved if they changed a thing.

Lazy? No, we are the backbone of America and that includes the U.S. Fat? Well, yes we do have a problem with obesity, that is due to fast food, and most countries struggle with this as well. Terrible food? Authentic Mexican food is delicious, most of the traditional plates belong the indigenous cultures. We sleep and watch a cactus? Mexico has the greatest beaches, Mayan and Aztec pyramids and resort areas. Mexico is one of the most visited countries. There is nothing wrong with being Mexican.

@fresc007 you're Mexican which is why you can't understand British humor unless you put yourself in the shoes of a Brit and live in Britain for some time. Every culture has a different way of getting the gags and British humor is much more offensive and blunt than anything you are used to.

You are talking as much rubbish as they are... what you're saying doesn't make sense... yes Top Gear is Top Gear no matter what, yes they were trying to be funny, yes people will get over it, but that's not the point. You shouldn't need to make unethical, stereotypical, uneducated, rude comments to attract viewers. That shows how good of a show they are, if they need that to get ratings.
